Submit Your 10 minute "Surprise" Script!
CAB Theatre is looking for scripts by local playwrights to include in its
upcoming production of original short plays, titled “Surprise!”
Actors from the community will perform this collection of locally written works June 8 and 9 at the University of Wisconsin-Baraboo/Sauk County campus theater. But first, directors Ben Bromley, Jessica Elsing and Rahne Forbes are soliciting scripts. The submission deadline is March 31.
Plays must be 10 minutes or shorter in length (the script should be 10 double-spaced pages or fewer). They should involve no more than four characters, and should not require extensive sets, props, costumes or lighting cues. Themes may be dramatic, comedic or suspenseful, but all plays must incorporate the element of surprise.
Auditions will be held in April, after scripts are selected.
Playwrights may submit scripts to benjaminbromley@yahoo.com.
